This weekend was my first weekend living in my new homestay. Our mom quickly told us that there was a karaoke event going on that night and we were kind of excited... And then there were 10 girl scouts standing in our house, in full uniform, asking us if we were coming to the event... Hmmm.... curious.
And then there we were... standing in an empty lobby, first ones there. Over a dozen girl scouts... I guess we're going to sing?
Unfortunately, it was Malagasy karaoke, with a very limited selection of American songs. This resulted in us singing the following:
Michael Jackson - You Are Not Alone
Celine Dion - I'm Your Lady
Backstreet Boys - Everybody
It was... really something.
